Our Philosophy

Over the years that I've been in the horse industry, particularly the rescue end of it, I've seen the majority of problems steaming from the owners lack of training or experience. Too many beginners wanting their own horse without the ground work. As a whole, us horse people KNOW that horses need allot of ground work before they are ridden. I feel the exact same about people and their own "ground work". This is what we do here. We train the PERSON who wants to learn. Whether it is for future ownership, or on their own horse. Matching people to their desires is our goal. In a fun, no pressure environment. Adults and children alike need basic skills to have a fun and successful horse ownership.
Now, lets not forget that our horses need training as well. If we cannot train YOU with your horse, we do offer training for your horse alone first, and bring you into the mix when you are both ready for each other. From the ground on up.
Our professional trainer is Stephanie Hammer. She comes with carded credentials!
Here is her own words:
My philosophy as a riding instructor is that proper equitation and good equine knowledge will allow the rider to ride any type of horse and in any type of saddle. Once the basics are solid then we can specialize in what each rider wishes to do. I believe in a goals-based approach to riding and a systematic pyramid of training. Knowing what you want and learning how to get to that goal leads to getting what you want! While I may personally specialize in English, I know plenty about western riding to help western riders achieve their goals as well. I look forward to working with you!

Below you will see another trainer who used to work for us and we will miss dearly! Life gets busy for all of us and our schedules and monitory equations did not end up working for us. But I would highly recommend her for anyone looking outside of Khemostar Arabians who needs a coach and trainer.
