Khemostar Arabians is proud to announce the new arrival at our farm! Bred in the likeness of the GREAT Marwan Al Shaqab, we present KS STARSTRUCK GAZAL!!
Marwan Al Shaqab is the son of Gazal Al Shaqab out of a Fame VF daughter. My colt is by National Champion Star Ghazal (Gazal al shaqab) out of a national champion FAME VF daughter.
Ever since the day I laid eyes on the Great Marwan AL Shaqab and his sire Gazal Al Shaqab, I have had a horse "crush" that has not been quenched until now. I have been blessed once again in my search for the perfect replacement for my aged, yet still going strong 28 year old Khe-Raffon. Although I love my other sires ALDEBARS TREASURE and KS MONTANA BOLD RUSH I did not raise them from babies like I did Khe-Raffon. I have since leased both Treasure and Rush to new barns, retaining ownership until such time as a purchase of either is complete. I had longed to be able to get that "from birth" bond again. Even though I know that no horse will ever replace Khe-Raffon (Raffy) in my heart, this colt is my dream colt. Thus named after his national champion sire STAR GHAZAL and my very first baby, born when I was only nine years old whom I named Star. I named my farm Khemostar after her...STAR. So fittingly the new colt is called Star, it means allot to me. KS STARSTRUCK GAZAL was born on May 9th of 2009. He will be the base of my new journey and my families legacy to come. Look for KS STARSTRUCK GAZAL in the show ring first and then the breeding shed in years to come. Famarra is sired by National Champion Fame VF. Fame VF daughters are becoming well known as the mothers of today's Super Stars. Fame VF is the sire of such greats as Versace, LBA Lodestar++, Fames Fax, and the notable mother of Marwan Al Shaqab, Little Liza Fame.
Famarra's dam, JDM Pentarra is the grand dam of multi-national champion JDM Raindance+//.
Now a broodmare, during her time on the show circuit she acquired several regional wins, many champion class A titles, and even a Cow Palace Grand National championship! she has success in both Halter and Western Pleasure. Her offspring are also winning in Halter and Performance.
Famarra posses the now famous Fame VF ears, which almost touch at the tips, smooth body, and big liquid eyes. Coupled with beautiful movement, she is a mare that is irreplaceable!
